Benefit Cosmetics asked me to create a mixed media animation for the launch of their Pocket Pals in three different shades in July 2026. Since denim already played a role in their campaign footage, we agreed on incorporating denim as one of the main elements of the animation and using circle-shaped cut-outs throughout. The embroidery around the circle-shaped cut-outs was done entirely by hand. I used three different yarns, each matching one of the Pocket Pal shades. The circle-shaped zine adds a beautifully tactile touch to the animation. Love is forever in the details.
