Objective
Delving into analogue techniques (scanning, and filming on 8mm) to combine traditional and modern ways of storytelling.
Skills
Analogue videography, post production
In these digital projects, I revisited the experiences of my childhood, using physical materials like prints and film rolls to create a connection to my early creative days. For the 8mm video, I embraced the process, letting the film’s organic imperfections guide the outcome.
In my scanned stop-motion project, I transformed a video into individual frames – about 800 in total, then printed and manually edited each frame with analogue tools like pens and scissors. After scanning the modified frames, I reassembled them in their original sequence. From analogue to digital to analogue to digital.
